Point System Change, new Magic the Gathering Tournaments!

We just changed the Point Earning system for every game participation bonus. You now earn 2 points for participating in the daily events! It used to be 5, but we realized that sadly we cannot be that constantly generous
Check the Event page on the web site to see what upcoming events you want to participate in!

Also keep checking the website daily for new Magic the Gathering Tournaments and events, with our new Game Knights Kiki and Brandon! More than just Friday Night Magic, now we’re going to have… well… more!

Warmachine / Hordes 35 Point “Lite” Tournament Event Saturday February 18th 2012 – Noon – Starts 12:30pm

What do I mean by ‘lite’? Well, as most of you know I like to run more casual events but I’d still like to run Steamroller too, so I’m easing everyone into it. This tourney has the following optional rules:

- No Character Restrictions
- No Reinforcements

No timed turns either, but normal timing on the rounds, so just over an hour to complete games give or take. If you’d like to use timed turns and your opponent would as well, you are welcome to, I’ll have timers on hand.

Start time is 12:30pm, end time should be around 6pm. $5 entry fee, with store credit as well as the steamroller basic kit embossed postcards as prizes for 1st-3rd, as well as best painted miniature and best fully painted army (must not have won with the same mini in one of my tourneys but same person winning with a different mini is valid, as is any best fully painted army win).

Like Knightfall Games on Facebook!

You might have noticed me hanging around the last few weeks. This is because KFG is making a LOT of changes to the web site. For example: The Facebook page has expanded (Yeah I know, like you weren’t already following us on Twitter)

All future events and blog posts will be attached to the Facebook page, which will make things a lot easier organizing future events and tournaments. If you want any more information on events, go to the Events tab up at the top to view the calendar for this month, or hover your mouse over the events page to see any Tournament Rules that you might need to read up on.

After you’ve grown interested in an event, either call KFG through the phone number on the new Contact tab up-top, come in and talk to someone (the directions are also on the Contact page!), or go to the Events page on Facebook and sign up there. It’s also a great place to ask any questions, we check it all the time!

If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to go to the new Forum and ask any questions you might have there. It’s also a great place to challenge anyone to a game, talk over new and upcoming news, or just plain show off.

Also check out the new Photo Galleries to see if you’ve shown up in any of them. I’ve been taking a lot of pictures around the store, so check them out and see if you can find yourself or a friend.

Check back all the time to see any new changes to the web site. Soon we will have a new Store tab for on-line ordering, and a brand new site for the new Quick And Easy Games you might have seen billboards for at KFG lately.
