Store Open Christmas Day
For anyone who wants to stop by and play some games or needs to pick anything up the store will be open from 2:30pm till sometime this evening. Feel free to stop by or give us a call. We will be here gaming and hanging out.
Holiday Hours
Just a quick update so everyone is aware of the hours for the holidays coming up.
We will be open Christmas Eve all day as normal. FNM is still scheduled as normal.
We will be open part of the day Christmas Day. Hours to be decided and will be announced on here when we open.
Open normal hours the rest of the week.
New Years Eve we will be open till 10pm. We will then be doing an invite only New Years Eve party which will end just after Midnight.
We will be opening at 2pm on News Years Day.
October Warhammer 40K Recap
First my apologies for taking so long to post this. Next, lets get straight into it. Last weekend was the 1750 point Warhammer 40K RTT event. We had a great turnout with a ton of really strong players and lots of great army lists. As this month is Halloween I thought that to get in the spirit of things we would do some festively themed scenarios. Here is a look at the three scenarios that we had for this month: Scenario 1, Scenario 2, Scenario 3. Overall there were some really great matches, some really interesting turn of events, and much was learned from this overall. I got some great feedback from a few of the players and will be using this to improve next months scenarios for the Oregon Food Bank Food Drive event. After three great rounds of fighting we ended up with some really close standings and the results ended up using Kill Points to break ties for almost every place. Below you will find the score sheet for the tournament. Overall it was a great tournament and I hope to see everyone back again for the November tournament. Congrats go the following winners:

Also as a followup I would like to apologize for any bumps and issues with this tournament as I just took over running it. However, I promise they will be getting better. My name is First Sergeant Harry S. Draden, United States Marine Corp. I am keeping this operational log in the event that I am able to get in touch with my superiors. Standard procedure for all members of Operation Valkyrie is to observe and report. Also, I guess it doesn’t hurt to keep notes in case something happens to me. For all I know whatever is happening is world wide and the government has collapsed. God I hope not. It’s the fourth day since this shit storm started. We are good on supplies currently but who knows how long that will last. I have managed to attach myself to a group of civilians. We are currently en route to Metropolis to seek out survivors and a better defensible position. Currently with me are two police officers, a convict, a medical student (Personal Note: The ponce that my sister married), a hunter, and a politicians daughter. God what a motley bunch we are. One of the police officers, an Officer Keera Murphy seems to be highly competent and is proving to be a valuable asset. The hunter would have made a great Scout Sniper. I wonder if he ever served in the Armed Forces or not.
Planeswalkers! You have been summoned!
Yea you heard me. I, the irascible Yeti, have the audacity to summon a planeswalker such as yourself. Do you have the fortitude, the mental strength, the dare I say it, cajones to rise to the challenge and do something about it? Oh so you think you do. Very well then. We shall meet upon the scarred plane of Mirrodin to do battle upon the morrow and posterity shall mark one of us the victor. At my command I have the tools of your demise, such as the feared and indomitable Wurmcoil Engine and the mighty Jones Soda Planeswalker pack. Aha! Now your afraid aren’t you? Yes, you are wise to fear my tasty and rare caffeinated beverages. Perhaps I shall share my knowledge of how to summon such mythical and rare spells as these if you prove yourself worthy by appearing on the field of battle. We shall meet at high noon and this conflict shall be resolved.
Verily, know this as well mortal knave. Upon the morrow we shall celebrate the one who is called Linda Armstrong’s birthday. Much merriment and rejoicing there shall be, perhaps there mayest be cake as well for us to feast upon.
Isle of Blood Incoming!!

Well, whether you are ready for it or not it’s here. That’s right, Isle of Blood hits the shelves on Saturday September 4th. And we have a day jam packed with excitement and things to do lined up and waiting for you. The pre-orders have been placed, the shelves are ready to be stocked, and when the doors open at Noon you better believe things are gonna get real.
And what pray tell do we have lined up you might ask. Well, let me just tell you what we have lined up. Isle of Blood boxes to start with. That not enough for you? Well then how about a full day of Warhammer Fantasy gaming. Oh, what’s that you say? You want more. Okay then Mr. That’s Not Enough. How about a painting contest. Better you say, but still lacking something? Fine then. Just because we want to make sure you get enough Warhammer Fantasy to make this the monumental occasion that it is how about some Isle of Blood specific scenarios just for this occasion. And to top it all off, just for you we will be raffling off more prizes than you can shake a squig at. Oh. That has your attention does it. That’s what I thought.
